Chronique is a mix of resource material. There are often medieval translations, biographies, accounts of battles. Alongside these articles are to be found essays on chivalry written by modern re-enactors and other knights pursuing chivalry in different ways. Our staff interviews noteworthy knights from around the world and includes a popular FORUM section where questions on chivalric conduct are debated. Starting with issue #15, there is a regular column on fighting styles that will assist the combatant in improving their combat skills.

Many of Chronique's readers are re-enactors in various medieval organizations, such as the SCA, but there are a growing number of contributors and readers with a more scholarly perspective. Chronique welcomes a diverse set of perspectives on our topic; whether you are an experienced combatant, a scholar, teacher, or squire, Chronique has something for you.
